Because Astronomical can be done using only your mind, it's a trick that you'll have on you at all times; it doesn't require any props, gimmicks, or other items (however, in some situations, having a pen and something to write on can be helpful).

In regards to discovering someone's astrological sign, Peter goes over two methods. The first method is surefire and extremely easy to do; if presented correctly and performed well, it's almost certain to fool and impress your spectators. The second method isn't nearly as simple or surefire as the first, but if you can pull it off, it really seems like real mindreading (in fact, Peter goes so far as to say that IT IS real mindreading). I don't think I'd feel comfortable ever attempting the second method, but if you feel like you can do it, you'll have a good shot at convincing your spectators that what they've just witnessed is a genuine miracle.

I should mention that at one point during the training video, you are presented with a written formula (essential to the trick), and you are encouraged to take a picture of this formula in order to memorize it. The problem is that Peter writes the formula incorrectly, making it impossible for the trick to work with Capricorns and Libras. Don't worry, though -- simply click the "Discuss" button next to Astronomical in your "My Downloads" page, and then click on the "Most Popular" tab; there you will find a question entitled "Capricorn and Libra," wherein a correct version of the formula is given.

I would definitely recommend purchasing this. Astronomical is a great trick, though it will take a good performance on your part to make it convincing. Additionally, Peter goes over some very interesting points on human psychology/behavior that you will undoubtedly find useful. Even if you don't end up using this trick, the information and principles contained within the training video are worth knowing!

This trick does not fit my personality, i think you need to ask to many questions and people are not stupid.

Peter Turner is very skillful. He has developed a great method FOR HIM. But, others will find this difficult. He freely admits that to him it is no big deal when his method fails to reveal the spectator’s zodiac sign (the goal). For him, giving the “reading” based on astrology is more important. His diagram of his method has mistakes, though that is easily corrected (See "DISCUSS" section.) When his fellow performer says the method sometimes fails due to spectators making mistakes, Peter replies “I get that a lot,” but people are just odd. At one point he says that the best way to figure out someone’s sign in three cases (i.e. one-forth of the time) is someone else’s method -and he cannot reveal that method. He suggests that you “go pick up” a book by another mentalist. I looked. That book is $75. He does offer a patchwork solution for those cases. In summary, if you are a “free-wheeling” performer who does not mind being wrong sometimes (because your chatty style covers it) you will LOVE this, especially if you like astrology. For those who demand accuracy, this may not be too useful, though you will still learn some interesting things from his teaching.

It's a good system -- gets away from all the nonsense of choosing cards, etc, when doing a reading and you just want to get the sign quickly. Takes a bit of effort to learn and a bit of memorization, but it's fairly easy and anyone could do it. I like this.

Funny how you're allowed to rate only up to 5 stars a product as good as Peter's Astronomical.

In short, if you want to be able to guess star signs, buy this. It will enable you to achieve this in a clean, interesting and entertaining fashion.

Great piece yet again from the mind of Peter Turner. So much more to this download than advertised. Quality AND quantity!

This video was absolutely fantastic.

I was familiar with one of the main concepts at work before purchasing the product, and was disappointed thinking that was the sole method on this product.

Fortunately, I kept watching.

This is probably the closest thing to "real" mind-reading on the market right now. It forces you to step out of your comfortable world of outs, and non-suspenseful predictions - into a world where the only way to pull this off, is by genuinely giving a crap about the person you're performing for, and what you're performing.

Turner has so many subtleties, and tips that make this effect so powerful.

I don't think it's for everyone. I think you have to have a good understanding of your persona, and some experience in the world of dealing with people and lay-audiences.

With that said, there is a ton of really useful advice and techniques on this project, that I have already started applying to different areas of my work, aside from using it for horoscope readings.

I wouldn't recommend this for a young mentalist just starting out, but then again, maybe if more young mentalists who were just starting out had access to this type of thinking, the world of mentalism & psychic entertainment would be a more fulfilling and entertaining place.

Phenomenal.

When the practice is put in, this is an amazing, totally impromptu piece of mentalism. Can be performed with nothing at all. If you know the method, it's in your arsenal!
