  Simply Great
by christurchinski from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on 04/10/2010 01:36:20      [report this review]
This trick is an absolute stunner. There is some set up but it's just something that will take you a minutes to do at the beginning of the day and you are set to do for the rest of the day. The cool part about this card to shoe trick is that there is absolutely no force required and it can be done with a signed card. The move you learn in this trick is a great move and it can be used for many other tricks out there. The price is so low for what you get so buy this trick and you won't regret it.

  Fun
by Anonymous from NY on 04/09/2010 14:47:42      [report this review]
I like this effect because the spectators don't know what's coming. It also has the "oops, the magician screwed up" moment that is always good for laughs. In fact, I would play up that aspect even harder. Keep cutting trying to find the spectator's card, and act more and more frustrated. This gives you even more time and misdirection with which to perform the mercury fold.

One thing about the demo video... I would NEVER say, "Look, my hand is empty" and then show just one hand... because as soon as you do that, the spectator's eyes are immediately drawn to the OTHER hand, which is clenched suspiciously at your side. Very bad.

Aside from the possibility of making performance errors like that, the trick is easy to perform. The mercury fold is not difficult because it needs to be done during misdirection. It's not a move you're trying to perform to fool anyone. What takes practice is working out the timing of WHEN to do it, moreso than HOW to do it. The only other move you need to do is controlling the selected card, which is well explained and shouldn't be a problem.

by G Money from Gulfport, MS on 04/05/2010 00:38:23      [report this review]
This trick has that wow factor that blows people away. The mercury card fold is something any serious card magician needs to know. With this sleight, the sky's the limit on miracles you can perform. One of the better instant downloads.

takes some work but if you are welling to get past the set up, it is a very cool trick. I like it because it works good with smal groups, and large ones. The relly freak out the reations are very good. add to Cart.

  Watch your angles
[Verified buyer] by Chris Folea from USA on 04/02/2010 23:15:44      [report this review]
This one can be angle sensitive, but I'd still suggest it. It's a crazy effect that gets powerful reactions when done correctly. Just make sure you practice it in front of a mirror.

Also with this download, you learn a priceless move. I'd highly recommend purchasing this download!
