Close-Up Illusion by Larry Jennings presented by Michael Ammar?

The trick says there is a gimmick and also says it can be instantly repeated. Can you repeat it with a different card or does the gimmick only allow one card? Or do you need a different gimmick for every card you use?

You can easily use a new card each time, without changing the gimmick. The gimmick will last through thousands of performances.

In my routine I have the odd card signed and I give it away at the end. You could easily add this as a phase to any selected card effect.

I've known and done this trick since I was a 16 year old. I first was shown it by the late Norm Scheim an old magician that sold tricks from his basement in Brockport, NY. I combine that with creating a whole routine and have the card (any) selected. I melt the card as shown, and then place it on the table as ask the user to select any other two cards. Then I perform the color monte idea with three cards, then I pick up the deck after I show the card changed to a final selection (think the end of the color monte) and place it FACE DOWN on the three cards. Then I flip it over doing a hindu shuffle showing the entire deck "IS" the final card, then reverse fan showing the deck is all blank. Finally I patter about how the jokers, love to play and that's why the deck was a gone....you get the idea... have fun with it...

I know there is a download tutorial, but do you get the three cards shown w/ gaff already in the card or do you have to 'make' it?
