I've been asking the same question. I heard from another retailer (not Penguin) that Anthony Carbone is searching for a new manufacturer. (That was about a month ago, so he may have found one by now.) The date has been moved back several times. The first time I asked, it was "in time for Christmas, 2013," then it was "shortly after the New Year," then "early spring," and now "sometime in July."

To Penguin's credit, their answer has always been, "We hope shortly, but we really don't know and won't take pre-orders until we are sure."

It's a great effect that I am eager to purchase. For Anthony Carbone's sake, I hope they get it together before the demand dies out and/or it's ripped off by Asian eBay dealers.
