In my opinion this trick is an expert sleight. Being a card magician for about 1½ years,it still took 4 days to master the basic shift perfectly, without exposing any part of the shift

I would say it's intermediate. I have been doing card magic for a little under six months and it took me about an hour to master the basic shift.

Personally for me, I nailed it in about 5 minutes consistently. It's gonna vary though, if you don't do any difficult sleights, it might take you a few days
