DJ Control - Deck?

I'm going to take a guess and say that SD stands for stripper deck. If that's what you mean then the answer is no. You can use any deck for this control, no gimmicks are used.

That said, you may have to switch decks overtime because one gets worn out or becomes unsuitable for future performances using this control.
