Does the Winning Hand require sleight of hand?

Was wondering what the skill level was the Winning Hand by Rick Lax. Does it require a lot of sleights? I'm between a beginner and intermediate but rather light on card work.

Hi Jmeinzer! Rick Lax here. In one sense, Winning Hand is largely self-working. Meaning you don't have to do any sleight-of-hand. But the trick is much, much better if you can do some basic sleight-of-hand moves. Such as a false cut and a partial shuffle (where you retain cards in a certain portion of the deck.) ...that's why I teach both those moves on the download. :) Even if you've never done them before, I bet they're within your abilities. And I go over both carefully, so you should be good-to-go after watching the download one or two times.

Hey there! The Winning Hand only involves basic sleight of hand to perform. I would say if you own Born to perform Card Magic you will already be proficient enough to perform!

I agree. Very basic sleight of hand. Does require some on-the-fly thinking, but is taught very well.
