You can do the same effect with cigarette ashes from an ashtray. Or some dirt from the ground. Granted, the permanent marker adds some extra astonishment but, dirt and ashes are free. Stock up on some "old school" books. Dai Vernon, Frank Garcia, Derek Dingle, Paul Harris... You can't miss with any of those guys.

So, bottom line...
Is it a good effect?
Sure...
Is it a $60.00 effect if you have limited funds?
Nope...

@Andrew - No special ink is needed for the tricks I mentioned. Just some small arts an crafts and what they supply. The trick called download that I mentioned is better than the symbolize trick but the symbolize might have something else to offer. And the versatility of the trick Propel being that you can have it set up ready to (since it's self contained) go if you want that extra pop in your ink show.

$60.00 for that Double Cross trick. Thats alot. I would only spend that kind of money on a trick if im buying like $200 and its part of the bunch or if the trick is a multiple use tool gimmick or something like that or if the magic of the trick makes my jaw drop/memorable reaction from me on first viewing and has like 20 plus five star reviews. Now with that kind of money. Like you mentioned. You can get some other stuff thats better. If I was a spectator. I would like to see you perform a set/trio of tricks. First would I would like you to perform *DOWNLOAD By Nicholas Lawrence or *SYMBOLIZED by Nicholas Lawrence (Instant Download) then next, transfer that ink dot that you like to your your finger then perform *Propel (DVD and Gimmick) by Rizki Nanda and SansMinds - DVD then it would be awesome if you close the set by saying something like: I did all this because I had two ink dots and you got one of them, then you reveal the ink dot that's now on thier/my hand(the spectators hand) that you made happen through the trick *Note by Matt Sconce (DVD + Gimmick) that you setup rite before things started. Oh, and I do own those tricks that I said I would like to see performed.

Well yeah everywhere I look or watch the video I never see a bad review. I'm really tempted to get this because it's completely different than anything I do already it's not card or coin Magic however if I am not with a spectator this kind of feels like it will just sit in my case. I have read many reviews of people saying even if you're on the fence get it because you won't be disappointed but I heard you can also make it appear on the floor or on the table. Everyone seems to understand the secret of how it goes to their hand but I don't understand especially as I am I functioning autistic, so until I really see it visually up close it's hard for me. I do see in some videos that when I asked to see your hand or which hand do you want to use appointments they put their finger under their palm 40 before they tell them to close it so it seems like their stamping them with that motion but I so until I really see it visually up close it's hard for me. Update. Got the trick, worth every penny. Overpriced with out a doubt , the mental pen I got is amazing too both have great things and I could see double Cross at that price regardless it's worth every penny just think they don't give you a lot of the special stuff in that container for what You pay other then that it's brilliant and had insane reactions. @THOKUS - symbolized looks alright; I like download better IMO. Not really a fan of sandsminds, and I have heard not such good things not too practical. I was thinking of getting download and doublecross so I would have two things to work with. Do you guys know anyone here on the forum, with the download or symbolized by Nicholas Lawrence do you have to use special disappearing ink or anything like that where is everything arts and crafts that you have at home like tape scissors glue Sharpie dry erase ? If I have to buy all the other things after purchasing a download I'll be very deceived especially if I get double cross with one of those downloads. I really like Nicholas Lawrence and his work so I really don't see a difference between download and symbolize to be honest they're both very visual effects . I feel like you can do more with download but symbolize also has things that seems you can do extra as well. I would appreciate if you guys can get back to me on the materials if I would need to purchase certain things to do these two instant downloads by Nicholas Lawrence or if it's just tape glue scissors pens markers sharpies dry erase ... I don't have disappearing ink or anything like that. I remember seeing something like that since mines thing you recommended where the person had their knuckles of their fingers and the ink was moving I forgot what it was called it was on the top 10 for quite a while a month ago or two

Also I have so many cases filled with magic typical tricks that are hot sellers and too much stuff that I don't use. This would be something that I feel I would use when the situation calls for it especially because I just bought mental pen I have a little door bare and I don't really do them too often except for little door , I was thinking of getting two more little doors or doublecross because I really like little door and I like to have many outcomes . I appreciate all of your advice and will take everything into consideration I always have too much in my wallet and my espionage while it is pretty thick if you know how big that is Aside from all of my cases and bags. I wish doublecrossed was not so much money but as I keep researching I don't find any bad reviews the only thing I find is people just complain about the price
