How to I make my grease tip swami look more like sharpie?

I have a grease tip boon writer and banachek mentions that it can be used to resemble sharpie writing. I find for me it doesn't so much. So I'm wondering if there are any techniques to make the writing more solid.

Hi there! You can purchase charcoal type pencils or grease marker pencils from art supply stores and use those in your swami device to look thicker and blacker.
