Is it better to borrow coins for coin magic?

Coin magic is about visibility. Usually the coins you will borrow are going to be small and difficult to see. There is no problem in bringing your own coins.

When doing money magic, it's always better to borrow the coins when possible. It seems more impossible if the trick is performed using their coin. Even if you have to borrow the coin and then switch it for the gimmick.
