I would not recommend this for beginners. I would stick with Dan Harlan's original in that case. It is much easier to perform. http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/353

Thought Toon is good but it is a bit bolder and you need a little more audience management. Thought Toon is definitely well within the grasp of most magicians though.
