Looking for a forgotten missing card trick

Over a decade ago I got into magic and with various Ammar's video Harry Anderson tricks etc I somehow ended up with a routine in all my ordereing that featured a "real" card trick with trick cards that mimicked the famous video trick of look at the cards and think of one and now it has disappeared thing. The difference It was with real cards and done with 5-6 cards. You show the cards in a fan ask the to think of one of the cards do a flip or whatever and show similar cards and their card has disappeared.
Anyone know what this is?

Since you've had a version of this effect and you know how it works, just make up your own set of cards.
You can do it two ways...
Use regular cards and switch out the 'packet' for the reveal.
Or, use use split index cards and rotate them 180 deg for the reveal. You'll have to modify your presentation accordingly.
Or, send PM an email...
Best wishes.
