Mangle and Deformer

Given that the two devices use different methods, which one is easier to use? Are they both single-piece gimmicks?

Mangle, when used by itself, allows you to get more leverage on the item you are going to bend. Deformer needs to be connected to a Sharpie to get the most out of it.
