Matchbox Mystery Box Question

The description says "everything" is examinable. So this means the matchbox as well?
Can I use any matchbox? If not, how durable is the one included?

Yes, the matchbox is ungimmicked (save for the holes.) You'll just need the right size--large enough to hold the metal, and snug enough that there's no conceivable way that the match can get around the metal.

You'll definitely want to replace the matchbox at some point, as that will be the first part of the effect to wear out.
