Do I need to own the book before ordering Rick Lax Memory system?

This answer is not useful
The memory system was only made to help you memorize the deck. You do not need the book to memorize the stack. To perform magic with this stack you will need to look elsewhere. There are no tricks taught on the download, so you'll have to find those somewhere else. The book has many effects but it is not the only place to find magic that uses a stack or the mnemonica stack.
