Haven't you asked this question 3 times in the last week?
Question is rhetorical. Of course you have.
Why?
The answer isn't going to change regardless of how many times you ask it.
As the ad states, you can, basically, use any note
"Use your own banknotes, Euros, Dollars, Pounds, Chinese Yen, and Japanese Yen"
So, you can do it, as @MYoda's friend states, but there are detriments.

Here's a copy and paste of my exact answer to the same question further on down the list...

My Canadian friend says, "...it does work, but you have to work hard on the creasing and the Canadian polymer money tends to want to unfold itself and is more bulky..."
He also says "paper money is much better!"

There you go ;-)
