Hi Brandon,
I do not doubt that this might be an excellent effect, but to suggest that since there are no props or that it is not a "visual effect" means we don't need to see the effect seems quite silly. As in, we do not need to see mentalism demos because they don't have fire, doves, or startling visual effects?
I'd love to see this made "real" with an actual performance of the effect. Without that, the advertisement instead suggests that if we saw the performance, we would a) be underwhelmed, or b) easily understand the method (though admittedly, have nowhere near the mastery that you have developed).
To advertise a trick, regardless of whether or not it is visual, should probably include an actual performance of the effect. As a consumer, I feel that that is a reasonable position to hold, regardless of whether or not the effect is "visual" or not. There is something to see. That's why audiences watch you. If there was "nothing to see", I can't imagine why would audiences would watch the effect. No doves, fire or flash, but an effect that occurs in the minds of spectators is still "something to see".
I'd appreciate it if a seller would let us see what they are selling, and what we are potentially buying.
