If you already know how to use loops, this is great. If not, you'd be better off with something else that goes into detail on how to use them, how to make them, how to store them, etc.

My apologies, I should have provided you with a resource.

This link, Million Dollar Knot, has gotten a lot of good reviews, but I can't vouch for it myself. (For tying your own loops)
