regarding the Jumping Gems

I have used these for years. Is this a new version of the trick. The two paddles shown appear to be two of the same paddle. Does not the other paddle have a diamond on one side and the other side have a ruby at the opposite end? Also do you carry the flash rod the finale to the trick, two diamonds at oposite ends of one side and a row of 6 diamonds on the other side?
