Shipping charge to Norway

Hi!
Was about to purchase a Christmas deck at your shop, but when saw shipping charges to my country - Norway, just gaped in despair...
What is the reason for that your shipping charge is 1,5 time as expensive as at en Ebay-shop?
$15.50 USPS First Class Mail International / First Class Package International Service | See details VS Foreign Shipping $ 23.50.

I'd rather purchase it on Ebay, but good point with the US - if my husband ravels there, can be an option.
