How safe is the smoke and how big is the smell? Can we use it in a room?

As with the majority of smoke devices, the smoke is created when heating/burning glycerin.
Yes, its safe.
The smell isn't really an issue i.e. no big deal.
Yes, you can use it in a room. It's enough smoke for an effect, but its not setting off any smoke alarms (exaggeration for effect)
