The Closer: State vs new vs old quarters a problem?

Just wondering:

How much of a problem are the different state quarters and old v new quarters in this performance?

The signed quarter is returned to the participant, correct?

If you play the trick right then the quarter won't make a difference. Morgan teaches a method so that the quarter they see and sign is the exact same quarter they get back in the end.

I watched the video over and over and decided that it's the best quarter bend I've ever seen and bought it before your answer. Seeing the method, I was surprised to see the method uses one of my all-time favorite "moves."
