Hi there,
I live in Australia and curious if this effect can be used with ANY or MOST water bottles that can be found around the world or is it only specific with a particular US brand??

Yeah, you can use any water bottle. Try to make it a really cheap and flimsy bottle. If you have heard of SmartWater, don't use that because it won't work.
