If the unit gets near my Apple watch it will vibrate as if it was a magnet and when this happens the
sensitivity of the unit is set to zero and will no longer work until you reset the device. Cannot
hide this under the band of a Apple watch for this reason and because of the shape of the unit, it
won't stay under the band anyway. I contacted Mr. Shelley and he said this could happen with some
watches but had no fix for it. There is an option to change the sensitivity of the unit but this is
completely worthless, if you set it above 20% the unit will go off every time you move it so it is
impossible to tell if it went off because there was a magnet or movement of the unit. The unit does
work good if you leave the sensitivity at 20% and take your watch off.
Disappointing
purchase for $300
Don't buy anything with hugos name on it unless you wipe your ass with it , if you ever have a problem your on your own ,their customer service is non existant . hugo and co. are the biggest chumps ive ever done business with. They wont get back to you if you have any sort of problem .You've been warned ...
you genius. there's a magnet in your apple watch! based on your review, it seems that it works as advertised, to detect magnets. you should take down your review, it's not right. you're complaining that the gimmick works.
John Steele the product works just as a is described. The video explains metals can set it off. I am sorry it didn't work as you would have liked (I wanted to do the same setup as you). That being said your product doesn't warrant a review like this
