The effect you can achieve with this secret is really extraordinary. I believe it's a 5 star effect.
BUT, only if, you work with an assistant.
That is not mentioned in the add, of
course.
So, you get the impression that you can do this effect by yourself, and still
amaze Shin LIm.
Well, you can't.
I mean, they DO explain a version in which you
can perform this effect on your own, without an assistant. But that effect and that method is just a
2 or 3 star item, not 5.
You WILL NEED AN ASSISTANT of your own, not from the audience, to
be able to fool Shin Lim, or anybody who is paying real attention to what you are doing.
I
do have an assistant, so I believe this is a great purchase.
If I wouldn't have the
assistant, I would ask for my money back.
So, in other words, you need a stooge to perform this effect?
It’s more difficult to do it without an assistant but I dont agree with what you say a good magician should know how to handle his audience i have done the effect always alone and you need to convince your spectator that there is nothing sniky and that is your job as a magician
You do not need a stooge. The person you are performing for as well as other spectators,are fooled. You need an assistant to perform this exactly as seen in the demo. If Penguin wants to delete my comment they can.
If by assistant you mean someone sneakily doing the dirty work, then it pretty much is a stooge. Just a matter of semantics here...
The only thing you need is justification to take out your phone, I perform this all the time on my own and sometimes, it can stand up to effects from Inject 2.0, which says alot. My patter is that of Gerard on Hoy by Andrew Gerard, check that out too!
