Since I received my copy of the Magic of Johnny Thompson I have searched for anything about the egg
bag as I could find. Since Bob’s name was mentioned in Johnny’s book, I knew this had to be good. I
adore Johnny’s routine but felt nervous about beginning the way Johnny does as I feared I may
accidentally reveal the secret. Bob’s routine erased that fear.
Bob has been doing this
for over forty years and it shows. Like Charlie Miller and Johnny Thompson he is a true master of
the egg bag. Armed with Johnny’s book and a good egg bag (I highly recommend Lynetta Welch’s bag
from Fabric Manipulation if you can get one. ) the sincere student will be able to present a
stunning display of true astonishment.
