this is a lecture. it's a lecture where max seldom looks at the camera, mostly reads his notes off to the right. had I realized this was a lecture I would not have purchased this

Err... If you read the blurb to what you purchased, it says:
"But, if you buy all six together, you’ll get them (...) plus receive an extra video, in which Max Maven recounts the History of Virtual Magic."

What you saw was this free bonus video! Log in again, and you should be able to see the actual performance and teach-in videos.
