Good weight. Looks excellent to spectators even up close. If you are looking for a wand that is as much a peice of art/furniture as it is a magical instrument, pass this by. It's just a metal rod with rubber over the middle. A prop. Before purchase, I thought the metal ends would be slightly bigger, so that the rubber in the middle would have an inlayed appearance. That did not turn out to be the case.

So Kevin, you are lacking as a clairvoyant - the wand was not what you imagined it would be, huh? For that reason you gave it low marks?! Unfair!
