The shipping and handling of this trick and getting it into my possession was excellent. I was
looking forward to receiving this effect , but unfortunately, it does not live up to the hype. In
the demonstration video, it shows a nice bright light that illuminates an “x” drawn on a spectators
hand… not so in reality. Actually, It is a very, very dim light, even in a darkened room, being held
1” above the skin…making it hard to for anyone to see what I was trying to do. $75 dollars is too
much for yet another lackluster effect to find itself in the “never used” magic drawer.
Mine had the same exact issues. The UV Ink was ok, as I could easily see it using the Cesaral Red Hot UV LITE. The concept is great, BUT... the quality of the UV was super dim
Loyd explains in the video about the dim light and ways to make it better ect,
Just watch more of the video and if your still complaining there then either it’s you or the unit,
If it’s the unit then refund it for another one (75$ is a lot, so I think it’s worth it)
Agreed! I watched the video and tried the tips related to brightness... still very dim compared to dollar store UV lights. Mine also exhibited misalignment causing the effect to look like two separate beams of light.
I had the problem fixed once I unscrewed the unit and you need to make sure you tighten the screw ALL THE WAY IN, AFTER WORKS VERY BRIGHT ACTUALLY JUST LIKE THE DEMO VIDEOS. Worth the price and effect worked
