Can the first penetration be done live in front of people? There was some debate on the cafe about video edit's done on that shot.

Yes it can be done in front of people, that’s what I created it for!!! I do it many times in the trailer. The traditional method doesn’t happen exactly as is shown in the trailer (that’s a variation) but to your spectator in the real world it will look identical. There is NO CUT OR EDIT on that video. It happened a certain way on camera that I can’t get into here that did not involve editing, but that exact version for camera could be possible in front of your spectators in theory, but it will take some thinking on your part.

What you did in the trailer was an effect already created called Factory sealed by Nick Verna. You never did the first penetration in front of people not once. That’s correct Zobar. That’s the main problem that I have with this. If the first penetration is mainly a social media trick, then say so. I would love to see him, perform the first penetration in front of people, that’s all. It looks amazing.

The full performances of my optical rise are on the download, but the trailer shows at least 2 separate reactions from the optical rise done live in a performance and reaction shots from it being done for them live - you can see these fully in the download if you purchase it. There was no edit in the opening shot for my trailer. It’s not a social media trick!!! Something just happened on camera you can control with one of the methods that you can duplicate in front of your spectators with some creativity on your part, but I go over many variations/handlings, subtleties & presentations for my coin in bottle system in this download. Many more variations and ideas are to come in future downloads that we didn’t have time to film. The misconception with factory sealed is that it is in reality a principle credited to creator Alex Ward who was the first to publish this in Sealed In with alakazam magic in 2007. Sean fields has used it as well as many others, but I never claim credit there. So many variations can be combined with my system.
I credit what I have created and developed: specifically my impossible souvenir bottle methods taught and my optical rise penetration, my quarter penny & slam penetrations. With this system you can combine vanishes, other penetrations you’re are familiar with, subtleties/variations or handlings with my utility bottle & I also encourage you to create your own effects with this system, make it your style - make it your own, use your imagination!

This effect you are doing was created by Nick Verna before 2007.
This issue has come up on the magic cafe and other places. Source material, legal documents, and many many witnesses in the public eye including IBM magicians, prove these facts.
He then contracted it to be developed and after it was performed by various magicians, people
Jumped all over it. Along with his method and the in and out secret subtitles, it was finally released and became available.
If anyone really wants to do this correctly I suggest you learn it through the proper channels.
It is so worth it.
Alex Ward never did that beautiful expression of that penetration that way.. not even close.
His was quick and fast like so many others.
Other inventors Like Jeremy Hanrahan who also was inspired called it “a thing of beauty.”

Those are what I take credit for, those are my creations and they are also being published by Paul Harris in his new set of books, in addition to many of my other ideas not taught on the download.
As for the Penny Push - I never take credit for this visuals origins…I encourage in the download to experiment with the different visuals you may already know & apply them to my system…or better yet - come up with your own visuals & variations/handlings to my utility bottle. Make this your own…get creative with your own magic visuals for this, the way I have…I created the impossible souvenir aspect before I created my optical rise visual. Meaning, I’m sure at least some of you out there also have the creative chops to innovate and make my project, my system & utility bottle fit your style.

I was interested in the Optic Rise but am concerned about what I read on the magic cafe about that egregious edit in the early video.

Thank you for voicing your concern here: I will say that there is no edit in the video. I just used a method of cleaning up that works well on camera - I created the optical rise to be done for real people, closeup and live. No cameras.
The manner in which I discovered this illusion & method (pulling an all nighter, sitting with a bottle and a coin with the intention of creating a strong, visual penetration) in and of itself illustrates how and why this is not just intended for on-camera use. I had already finished the breakthrough impossible souvenir aspect of my effect when I discovered the optical rise - but I still wanted an original, strong, visual penetration to go with the ungimmicked/unaltered glass souvenir impossible bottle.
I fooled myself while sitting there with it. Realizing what I discovered, I did it in the mirror. It fooled me there too. Then, I did it for my wife. It fooled her. So THEN I put it on camera. In this way, you can see from the series of events that this was not meant to be a social media/camera trick. But a piece one can perform in real situations.

So basically you are saying you have created a system where you can get small objects inside an unaltered glass bottle? This is the main breakthrough? And the Coin Rise is your main original expression of a coin penetration?
Because if you can get small objects inside a glass bottle where both the objects and the glass bottle seem to have no marks on it… that would be kind of cool. I would imagine in would need some prep work but still kinda cool.
If this is true can the coin be signed?
Yes, there are many ways that the coin can be signed which I go over in future upgrade kits.
