A lot of people don't like this effect or run away in horror when they read about its premise.
This effect provides you with one of the very best handlings for the spike effect, yes there is
a chance (1%) you could get hurt, but believe me its worth it, I would totally recommend this.
I don't think I would risk even 1 chance in a hundred that the nail will go in one side of my hand and out the other. Still I just ordered it.
So performers who work regularly should know that they will get hurt one point or another. A hundred shows with a 1% chance of hurt - is a 100% hurt.
Hi Andrew, I own The Pain Game and I really do not see where you find a chance of 1% to get hurt ? It really is 100 % safe (if you do what you have to do, of course).
Agree with orijckaert. Own this effect and honestly can't imagine how you could sustain an injury. I mean, you could hurt yourself in your parked car by intentionally slamming your head against the steering wheel, but no sane person would do that. This effect has the same chance of error (read: zero.)
