I own several Roth DVD's and lectures, and this is, hands-down, his comprehensive lecture. David
covers topics of both high importance and interest to coin magicians, such as palming, the retention
pass (and the theory behind vanishes), as well as a multiple-routine lesson in Coins Across. David
emphasizes magic, bestowing wonder on spectators, rather than complicated technique and
knuckle-busting "coin-istry".
This is not an introduction to coin magic. He teaches the moves
well, but not as detailed as the step-by-step instruction on his DVD's. However, if you've watched
the first 2 Expert Coin Magic Made Easy DVD's, you'll be astounded with this lecture and be ready to
perform (to quote David): "some coin magic that looks like real magic".
Hi Dmitri. Thanks for your review.
With regards to what Roth teaches, besides the sleights and theories, what other routines does he teach besides the Coins Across, Coin Box, and Hanging Coins (which were shown in the trailer)? Many thanks for your help.
