I recently bought this and then I started reading some of the negative reviews on penguin and just had to leave my own review.

First off, dont listen to the haters, this is a fantastic effect! Most people have been complaining that it's too hard, which it's not, it will of course take some practice, as every magic effect. Another thing people seem to hate about this trick is the fact that you have to make your own gimmick. I dont know why people hate that, I LOVE IT! Creating your own gimmicks is so much easier and more practical that way I barely have to spend money and wait for shipping and handling and blah blah blah. Besides if you've been in magic for at least a bit, you've probably got most of the things you need to great the gimmicks, if not, it's cheap to get them.

Now with that said, there are some things that you need to bring to your attention, yes this trick is a bit angle sensitive, it's more of 1 on 1 or small group kind of effect, which is fine. Edward is a great teacher and he teaches you a few different effects you can do with this gimmick.
Oh by the way, I dont know why people are saying this but people on here have been saying that you cant hand the deck of cards for examination after the trick, YES YOU CAN! I dont know why people are saying that, the gimmick is NOT the deck so the deck CAN be examined after the trick.
So as long as a little bit of arts and crafts and a little bit of practice is alright with you, then I RECOMMEND THIS DVD!!

Ok James, since you didn’t mention anything in your review about the size of ones hands, I would like to hear your comment. I have purchased tricks in the past that said they were not recommended for individuals with small hands and yet had no problem performing them. On the downside, I have also purchased items that are collecting dust because my hands were in fact too small. Having said that, and not knowing the size of your hands or anyone else’s for that matter, I would like to know what you or anyone else for that matter, would consider too small? If I place a deck of cards flat on the palm of my hand where my wrist meets my hand, the other end of the pack comes to the first joints. Otherwise, the palm of my hand is the same size as a deck of cards
