I have a thread reel and spider pen and plenty of thread . Is the levitator gimmick better than the reel or pen? Magicians who do levitation tricks should not be misguided by gimmicks they all ready have unless this is really a new and improved idea.

This is essentially just IT with the addition of the two lights to make it look "cool". This is really not a breakthrough device or anything, and the ideas in which IT is put to use in this DVD are not that difficult to come up with on your own once you know that it is IT and only IT. By the sounds of it you have the spider pen pro and lots of thread, and to be honest you would gain no new gimmick here.
