I really really wanted to like this trick. I was very impressed with the trailer and was excited to
learn and preform this trick.
With that said, I was shocked to hear the method. As someone
stated, this is a very old method. The revision is so minor that it almost doesn’t change anything.
It’s extremely hard to watch the performances (especially the second one). In some instances their
dreams are practically forced upon them and the questions are extremely vague and cliche …
Performer: “You’ve had a dream where someone’s chasing you, right?”. “”
Spectator: “No”
Performer: “I mean, have you EVER had a dream like that?”
Absolutely ridiculous!
What further infuriates me is that the explanation is just as ridiculously… So unnecessary long.
A lot of chatter that has really nothing to do with preforming the trick. All the nuances discussed
are laughable, as if that’s going to matter. The proof is in the example performances and the
exhausted method. This trick is clearly being pushed by Patrick to bring in money as Dan looks
extremely bored and appears to have the look as tone "Why am I even hear".
Stay very far
away from this trick at ALL costs!!
Thank you for your honestly here! I've been on the fence about this one for a while, and you just confirmed my suspicion. Honestly, I was really disappointed with another release I purchased by Patrick, and just the fact that he was presenting this, made me doubt it highly cause I didn't want to get burned by anything with his name on it again at all, even tho it wasn't his own. Sincerely, thank you for saving me from this one.
A lot of people who review products give ratings and reasons that are not only don't make any sense, but are sometimes downright stupid! And due to their ignorance, I can't even what it is about the effect that makes it good or bad. (Some really need to just give up magic in general :P ) I really wish some people would take note, this is how a poor review of a product should be conveyed. Explain what's so bad about it, rather than making completely stupid comments like: "I wasted my money on this, This is terrible" or another one I just read about an IN THE HANDS PRODUCTION ROUTINE,.. that literally made me lose brain cells, 1 star, went something like: "Complete waste of money. You really, really need to love to do sleight of hand for this one. I threw away $15"
