This trick... Oh this trick is terrible. Unfortunately too good to be true and you also have to know how to do a certain card move which is not an easy one in my opinion.

Impromptu? I guess but if you want to use a borrowed deck be prepared to do 6 mins of setting it up.

All in all, this was an absolute WASTE of my money...

I am the creator of this trick. The only thing that prevent you from doing it is that you did not spring the card the right way, and you fan it wrong. With that in mind, I recommend you t watch the explanations carefully, and try and try. For the Impromtu part I just mean it require no gimmick

If you meant to say "no gimmick", then that's what you should have initially written. Otherwise, stating it was impromtu is misleading.

My definition of impromtu for this effect would be, hand me the deck and I immediately perform. No preparation.
