Hey guys! Dalton here, this works anywhere in the world - not just the United States. Also it doesn't even have to be the states! You can even do cities, or individual towns. Such as asking your spectator where they are from, zooming in on the state and then having them placing the pin impossibly on the town they were born in! After you know the method you can think of plenty of other reveals besides states only. Use your brains!!! Any know how to get this to work with Google Maps, or any android app?
Suggestion: when I showed the effect to my son, he thought something changed with the Maps app when I turned the phone over (to let him move the pin). So now I show how the pin moves with the phone face up _and_ face down, before asking the spectator to move it. Solved my son's (incorrect) solution!
