I'm sorry that you feel that way. However the ego change is similar to the cardini change. I know this because I studied both the changes for some years, because they were my favourite sleights. This change is NOT the same as either of those. The reason being the cardini uses your pinky to snap down the card, and the ego similarly. My change may have the pinky used in the change, however the pinky isn't used to snap down the card, therefore the mechanics of the change are different.
