Quality cards with the standard routine.
When identifying the card by asking just one person
some may think you used a confederate. So ask 4.
One person says "red or black", then
someone names
the suit, another says face or number, and the last
person names the card.
Consider skipping the bag Dan uses to recover the deck.
When it's tossed back to
you...miss catching it.
Crud. Now what, it's invisible. Wait, you're a magi;
snap your
fingers, wave your wand, etc. and make it visible.
Then find it under the back drop curtain, in
your open case,
or where ever you put it out of sight before the show.
Dan suggests
cutting the flap down a little to make it easier to remove the cards, and then just turns the box
upside down and the cards slide out. The cut idea is helpful for bridge/poker cards because they
are light and
won't always slide out when the box is turned over. These
are heavy enough to
slide out well.
You don't have to do the math with this version because by
holding the
cards in front of you the selected card will be
on your side and easy to see.
