First off, let me say that the concept is brilliant. My frustration is rooted in the fact that I
had to perform quite a bit of work on the box as described in the video that shows immediately when
you access the online instructions.
For the price, I would expect a finished product. The
explanation of "adhesive migrating" due to worldwide shipment seems rather lame. I suspect the more
truthful explanation is a hurry to fill demand.
That said, the idea is brilliant, and if I can
ever get it to work properly, it will be an outstanding effect.
It is a finished product and I was able to perform it for others almost instantly.
I just want to remind everyone this are of the site isn't a secret. Method exposure isn't cool.
I bought four of these, by the way, and they all worked right out of the box. They worked even better after minimal work.
You bought four , what , you gonna hang em on your christmas tree....
Just want to ask all...noticed that these days quiet a few products require the arts and craft approach.It seems a few even stuff up when finished. We don't all have the time and patience and the tools to put together these, and if a mistake is made there goes you $100 or so.I may be old fashioned but if you buy a piece of magic it should come ready to use and all you have to do is worry about the practice.
I agree with others, in that we paid a high price for this. They may be working great for you. Congrats. But for numerous others, it came in NON working condition.
If you truly are OK with "minimal" adjustments to make it work, then I have an awesome car I would like to sell you. Don't worry about the faulty transmission, it just takes a little work and you will be on the road in no time.
I do believe that EVERYONE agrees that this is an amazing effect and idea.
But some do not have $75+ sitting around to buy something, and then have to spend more time and money to fix it. That's not fair at all and should be refunded a portion or something. That's just good customer service. Not great, but good.
