I never do phone magic, I was hoping this would change my mind, instead it has reinforced the idea
of staying away from phone magic all together. The manual actually suggest you enter the web
addresses into someones phone. You should never touch someones phone to do a trick, it's intrusive
and I think they will remember you touching their phone more than anything else.
There is a
lot of issues going on here that I can't get into without giving away the method. Let me just point
out the following,
1. You will need to make a second investment of a Bluetooth controller,
or smart watch, or assistant.
2. The web addresses that have to be used are fishy looking
except for one which would require a smart watch for it to work easily.
3. The effects
feel like your using some weird phone trick except for maybe two of them. It doesn't come off as
magic, it comes off as "how did you get my phone to do that?"
Hi Andrew,
Most of the effects in Inject can be performed without having to touch the spectator's phone.
If you touch the spectator's phone, then it's because you're doing a Google search for something.
1. You do not need any additional bluetooth device or a smartwatch to perform Inject.
2. There are THREE web addresses that you can use with Inject.
One of them is designed for speed (it's very short).
The other two are meant to look like Google services.
You're welcome to use any of the three websites. Thousands of users have found nothing "fishy" about these web addresses.
3. All of the included effects use standard functions of the internet.
There's no evidence of foul play left on the spectator's phone.
If you join the Inject Facebook group you'll see how thousands of users amaze their audiences every day with Inject (or you can just read the 5 star reviews here on Penguin).
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to email me.
I'll do everything to make you happy with your purchase of Inject.

1. That's not true. To perform these effects the way it looks in the video you need at least one of the things I named. Even in your instruction video you use an assistant most of the time. So if you want this to work as advertised, yes you do need them and no swiping in your pocket doesn't always work.
2. The web addresses are super fish what are you talking about? I had one guy call it out immediately which is why you have to touch the phone, anyone typing in my id looks at that thing and goes what is this?
We should fool our audiences with our magic not each other so we buy it.
If you would have just advertised this as a trick that needs a Bluetooth or assistant to really work the way it does in the video than I wouldn't' be complaining at all.
By the way I know several people in Vegas who use this and 100% of them use Bluetooth, smart watch and assistant when available and they all agree you need them for the tricks to come off as they do in the video and not risk messing up in your pocket which can easily happen.
your wrong!
the effects are as close to the real thing, but i suggest taking your time with the revelations to ditract them from the phone part, but honestly its fine.
the swiping is honestly not a problem. you can easily memorize everything, and change the entire system so it will suit you better. that means you dont need any extra devices or assistants, although they can be usefull. and if you dont mind taking your own phone for a few moments during your routine you can use some misdirection and good scripting in order to do all the dirty work in front of your spectators.
its not a hard or bad app. its not hard to do, but can be a bit chalenging to perform. i think you should get it right away, but be ready to build a script and work on your performence, which are two things that can help you in so many other effects.
Ms1206 nothing I said is wrong.
If I'm wrong then why does he use an assistant or Bluetooth for almost the entire instructional video.
Why is the Facebook page littered with people complaining about issues?
Because this is unreliable expensive magic...two words that should not go together; unreliable and expensive.
I also want to say, to the many people who have issues with the Houdini page, stop doing the trick,go by an invisible deck, it's the same damn thing, and the invisible deck won't mess up on you.
ALL of the effects that are shown on the trailer video and ALL of the videos that are shown on the long YouTube video are done without an assistant, Bluetooth device, or a smartphone.
Also, the long YouTube video has no cuts or camera tricks.
There are thousands of Inject users, that perform Inject every day, that will tell you that the above is a fact.
Please STOP spreading mis-information about Inject.
If you think I'm lying, you're welcome to contact me via email or Facebook, and I'll be happy to perform ALL of the above effects, over Facetime, with nothing more than my phone in my pocket.

Greg,
First let me say, this is not an attack on you, this is an honest review of a product I was dissatisfied with. Just look at my account, most of my reviews are 5 stars.
I'm not giving any false information, and based on the other comments as well votes for "helpful or not" I am certainly not alone in my opinion (an opinion which is based on my own experience with the effect).
If you would have just said you need a smart watch, assistant or blue tooth controller in the description I wouldn't be upset. For this to work like it does in the demo you need at least one of those items. That was your choice to label the effect as so and I can't change that.
I know people who use this, and all of them use at least 1 of, if not all of the above mentioned items. Despite there efforts, I have seen it fail on them in person myself.
Perhaps the improvements with 2.5 will remedy the issues this product has. If I find it has improved I will be happy to give it a 5 star review. I wish you the best with the new release, but I also hope you choose to label it correctly or post a demo that more accurately portrays the effect.
Ok. Let\'s make this as honest as possible. I think it is really great. You don\'t. It is fine. But I just want to explain everything.\r\n\r\nCons:\r\n1. Honestly, it isn\'t that many effect. It is just different variations of the same trick. You will find 3 main effects: mind reading, card prediction and a prediction of anything. I use the mind reading and Houdini card ( which is a card prediction), and they are awesome. The prediction of anything is great as long as you are either bold enough to do it in front of your spectators, or you have an assistant. If you really want this for the prediction buy now! By Mariano Goni.\r\n2. The advertisement. It is not clear that for some of the prediction s you need to use an assistant or else it looks pretty bad. The good thing about predicting cards is that there is a limit to them. For that reason the coding technique of anything with a limit is great. If you want to predict anything out of 60 or so things than this is good. I created my own version in which I place four pieces of paper towels on the table, and each one has a number between one and four. They mix them around until they get a four digit number made out of the numbers in through four and I predict it. It is great. The problem comes in when they can choose anything, because then you need to type it.\r\n\r\nPros:\r\n\r\n1. Fairly easy to do. With the correct presentation the Google peek can fly right under the radar. And The coding technique is pretty easy to understand.\r\n\r\n2. Easy to customize. You can create your own tricks that will be good for you.\r\n\r\n3. Amazing reactions. It takes a while to get comfortable with it, but boy is it worth it.\r\n\r\n4. If you do have an assistant you are crazy if you haven\'t bought it yet. \r\n\r\n5. I honestly don\'t know what the problems with it are. It works fine.\r\n\r\nIn conclusion, I see why many people find it bad. It has it\'s problems, but it can also be really amazing. You need to think about the kind of performer you are and if you are in it for the prediction get now! By Mariano Goni.
Is this a review of Inject or an advertisement for Now! by Mariano Goni?
