a lot of people comment on the difficulty of reading the back of the cards. difficult to see in subdued lighting so i marked my own but the marks were a bit obvious.i thought i had ruined my trick!! so i thought of the old method. this will be controversial. i start by getting the spectator to put a card down first. and i match it.then i admit the cards r marked! then i say if i put my card down before u put yours down then that would be real mindreading. of course they r asked to put their card down face up and i make facial expressions as if i may have got it wrong telling them i may not get them all right as if i am struggling.when u get them all right they r impressed. of its not as good as using the marked cards but i would have to reject a great trick otherwise with my eyesight. hope this may be usefull.use a lot of playacting alan
