There's so much strong material on here that it's unbelievable. Although I prefer the modern version
of waving/twisting the aces, it's still nice to see Hollingworth's take on it using a vertical card
setup. You'll learn so much from this including tricks involving palming, knacky but visual sleight
of hand, a cool triumph, and more. It's slightly shorter than his book drawing room deceptions, but
covers a bunch of effects shared in the book as well. Although I have both, I found it much easier
to learn from watching and listening to Guy on the DVD. To wrap it up, if you learn better from
reading, buy drawing room deceptions. However, if you're interested in hearing Hollingworth's
insight and have time to watch an interesting film, this is perfect. The one issue that bothered me
a little was that the video quality is comparable to that of a VHS tape. It's also worth noting that
the film is in black and white. Nonetheless, the quality is decent enough to see what he's doing
pretty clearly. Overall, I'd put it straight up there if you're looking for a perfect mix between
knuckle busting and hyper visual magic. Be ready for hours of practice.
