I have another Bicycle deck of "Big" cards, and this deck is different. The cards are the same size,width and length, however, this box of cards has extremely rounded corners, are not air cushion cards, and do not look like a normal Bicycle card. The picture here on the Penguin advertizing is that of the "real" Bicycle card and not the one with the rounded corners that you will get if you order these cards. Don't get me wrong,....they say on the box that they are Bicycle cards, but if you have the more expensive big Bicycle cards that you are hoping these match,..they won't. Expect this deck in the box, to also be about 1/4 less in thickness than the "real" Bicycle Big Deck." So, if you're thinking this is a great deal because they seem to be about cheaper than other Big Bicycle cards you have found....thats why.

I actually purchased two of these for the boxes... I needed replacements. Unfortunately, these cards are printed on EXTREMELY thin stock, and is probably half the thickness of a regular deck of cards. While they might make a good DIY R/S deck, or for decorations, don't expect the normal jumbo size card deck or box.

These are the new "big box" style of jumbo cards from the US Playing Card Co. The older style has been discontinued.

The differences? Not many. Neither had an air cushion finish. These new cards are the same size (length and width), but are thinner than the old style. I actually think they handle better for many applications. I did not find them to be flimsy at all and the box takes up less space in my case, which is nice.

Best of all, they are priced well here at Penguin. Get some.

I'm just echoing and seconding other reviews when I say that this is a great bargain for this deck. And if it's true they've stopped making them, you should grab one! These cards are sturdy and should wear well - and for a long time.

I love this deck. Perfect for parlour/stage performances, even Close-up! Very good quality, the design is identical to the Bicycle deck poker size. I'm very happy with it.

Something about holding cards has always calmed me down. It's strange that I only recently started to learn card tricks. The only thing about this deck that makes me sad is that the box is kind of flimsy so I will have to find an alternative way to store them in the long run because the box itself kind of fell apart. Perhaps the glue wasn't strong enough? I plan to use these cards as props in movies and for certain tricks when I get better. It does take some time to figure out how to shuffle them. Overall I really like them a lot and I enjoy tripping my friends and family out with this larger than life deck. Sure there are bigger ones bit they aren't bicycle which is just so classic. That alone sold me. Also, not the smartest idea in the world to use this around kids. They are sturdy, but a smaller deck is much more stronger.

This is the exact deck that is used in the pricing game "Card Game" on "The Price Is Right". That's why I recently purchased a deck of big Bicycle red playing cards. I'm building my own Card Game prop, & plan to host my own version of the Card Game. If you're a huge fan of "The Price Is Right," & if really like the Card Game, I definitely recommend this. You won't be disappointed.

As far as price goes, that's the only buzzkill, but it is a great tool to have, it demands attention when on stage, and even more offstage, granted it's harder doing slight of with, you would probably resort to using kids easy illusions with the cards.
