PERFECT PEN is John Cornelius' improvement of his original Pen Through Anything. His original Pen Through Anything has been knocked off many times and many of the knock offs are better than his original. However, that is NOT the case for his PERFECT PEN, which is in my opinion the best of them all.

The PERFECT PEN is great because it can withstand examination with nothing to hide or palm away. The knock offs require hiding something at the end and the PERFECT PEN does not. I highly recommend this. It is the Cadillac of "pen through" pens. I have used it in close up and parlor shows for over 15 years.

I'm disappointed to see the other reviewer's poor review (Feb 2, 2016). He's complaining about changing the ink, which is totally unnecessary and not a fair way to assess this excellent prop. Yes, the pen really writes but I don't ever write with it because there is no need to. In over 15 years of using it hundreds of times, no one has ever asked "hey, does it write?" Well, it does write, but if you write with it, you have to refill it and it seems that's what the other reviewer is complaining about. The trick is excellent and forget about the ink! This is the best of the pen through dollar type tricks.

I give the pen 4 stars because I was a little perplexed by the fact that if and when you hand the pen out the cap does not fit tightly and it would (I think) arose suspicion) that it is really not your typical store bought pen. You can't clip it to a pocked or the barrel would fall off.

OK, I guess you just don't hand out the cap with the pen.

It a great pen never-the-less.
