Don't expect what you see on TV!!! Report this review

Card thru window has been on many different magic specials and has been done by David Copperfield, David Blaine, and Criss Angel. After you have seen all of these magicians doing this same exact trick, you would think that John Kennedy's trick would be what they are doing.
In fact, I went to my local magic dealer and he didn't sell this trick because of how expensive it is, but he assured me that this would be the closest thing to what they are doing. But it is not! If you have seen Copperfield do this on a moving train in front of a window that has been in plain view the entire time, or Criss Angel do this on a moving bus with a signed card in front of a windshield that has been in plain view the entire time-you see a very amazing trick that seems to be completely impromptu! This version is not however.
It is not bad per se, but do not buy this expecting it to be what you see on t.v.! It is cool how you can "make the corner of the card jump through the window," but that does not make up for the extremely high price of this item. Now, if you are like me and you HAVE to know the secret, (and you do not care about having to do a set up) you should buy this. This version is far superior to the crappy Peter Marvey version that is sold here. But do not think that you are getting something that you really aren't.

Purchase bottled up by Jared Millican, same effect but the card ends up in a snapple bottled and its less expensive.

Does not have TRUE amazement to it.
Not a good piece for a true performer.
It's way over priced...should be more like .95 or something

This is AWESOME!!
It's really expensive, but you WILL get what you have payed for! I wouldn't have purchased it if I hadn't won in the lottery.. I had been looking at this effect for a long time.. but dropped the idea of purchacing it because of the prize.. (its TOO much) but suddenly I got to have more money that I'd expect.. then I got it!! I am VERY happy that I purchased it.. it's GOOOD!!
It's ok but expensive Report this review

I bought this trick and find that is is ok. But a bit expensive. Buy it if you really like this kind of effect and got spare money.

OK, this is genius!!! I love this effect, you will learn one of the greatest classics in magic, but in this case, you will fool magicians!!! The only problem is the price, I consider it to be pretty expensive, but it's well worth it.
its not as good as it looks....trust me Report this review

One of the reviewers didn't seem to like this effect because it didn't seem as impromptu as what they have seen on TV. Of course it doesn't. Copperfield, Blaine and Angel make an effort to ensure that their performances look impromptu, but in reality, they are far from it. The challenge to anyone performing this effect is to manufacture a situation where it looks as if the choice of location/window is not important. It won't always be possible, but when it is, your audience will remember it. For the rest of their lives.

John Kennedy has created something special. Card through window is one of the most well know effects (thanks to Blaine) and it's the one trick that will probably get you your best reactions of your whole magic career. There are a lot of cons to this trick but if you can get around them then it's well worth it.
The set up does take a fair amount of time to set up but just do it well before hand and you'll be good. Make sure it's not the first trick that you do either to avoid suspicion. Even then, because you reveal it as a prediction people don't think much of it.
The price is high but if you are serious about learning a trick that will make your reputation huge, this is it.
