Ok first off let me just say like most of you when i saw the demo i was blown away... However with
that being said let me go over a few things. The gimmick is very well constructed and will last you
a lifetime providing you take good care of it. But the effect is hardly angle proof especially when
you need to retrieve the gimmick back from the cup when you are finished. I have performed this
effect numerous times and its good but i just fail to see the WOW factor. Dont get me wrong i am not
saying not to buy this effect im just saying dont be upset if you dont get that omg, wow factor from
the audience especially if they want to see the cup.
all in all a good buy there is some work involved but like any good trick there always is... my recommendation good trick and worth a look. Did this review help you?
This is an excellent visual effect that will get very good reactions. The suggested routines are
all well-conceived, and it's hard to criticize the effect itself. My only complaint would be that
the gimmick is a little finicky, and there's a good chance you'll encounter some early frustrations
as you work with it. Once you're past that learning curve, the effect is very easy to do, and
people really will be stunned by this.
My bigger complaints would consist of the marketing. Obviously, the price is an easy target. Given what the gimmick is, I never would have guessed it would sell for this much. On the other hand, you do get your money's worth of reactions, so it's not as if you'll feel ripped off; however, you'll likely feel as if you could've made something similar yourself for a fraction of the cost. I also question one item in the description... the assertion that the effect is angle-proof. I'm not sure how you can say that, since you need to palm out the gimmick. Yes, you could leave the gimmick in the cup and retrieve it at a much later time, but this seems like a poor option... if you crush the cup, the next logical step would be to toss it in the trash... once you do that, you run the risk of someone discovering the gimmick, losing it completely, or at the very least, get very strange looks from people when you start rummaging through the garbage trying to find the cup that was yours. First thing is the first. I love this trick!
Handling: 7/10 Of course you need to practice. but with 10-15 minutes or less you can do it pretty smooth. You'll even fool yourself in front of the mirror. DVD:9/10 The DVD is not very long but John covers every detail and different variations of how to perform it. I love the concept of turning coffee into coffee bean. Gimmick: 10/10 I have to say it is very well made. not only if is durable and functional but also very user friendly(you will know what I am talking about when you get it) World famous magician Lu Chen performed it with orange juice in the Chinese TV show 2010. This is a great trick! I think the concept is really good, the gimmick is simple to use, easy to
carry around and setup. I do think the price is a bit steep, but when you consider that the gimmick
was custom designed and mode, I can understand why its so costly. The DVD is reasonably done; not
as professional looking as some, but he does a good job of explaining the gimmick, moves and
routines. He shows you from different angles as well. The DVD does have some different routines in
it as well. Overall I'd say it's a great addition to your magic repertoire.

So I was able to get my hands on this trick and I have to say that its a great concept. I have
performed this well over twenty times, and am pleased to say I haven't encountered any problems
whatsoever, It's easy and doesn't take to much time to master.
The DVD teaching you how to pull it off is GREAT, and offers some great variations of the original method giving more then one option on how to do the trick. There is just so many possibilities, which makes this one great trick. It was a great buy and I will continue to perform it and will also continue performing this making coffee turn into coins. i received mine in the mail finally and compared to the gimmick on the dvd mine seemed sleightly
smaller but maybe john kennedys hands are smaller and look big on the tv i dont know , but anyway
where im canadian the only coffee shops we have is tim hortons and the size cups you can only use is
size medium and large , barely fits medium and just fits a large cup but both work perfectly.
the crushed cub version looks very magical but yes everyone will want to examine the cup so i advise turning back and dispose of it into a place they will never want to look thru. the coffee vanish where the cup of coffee is covered with a napkin and after you do your magical hand wave or whatever you like ( pray to jesus to send your coffee to another dimension is my preference ) you take the napkin away to show the coffee is basically completely vanished and can be examined. the coffee transform effect " coffee to coffee beans " ( note you can also change it to whatever you want my preference is to change the coffee into a cup thats half beans and half sugar packs and creamers ) this is the best version on the dvd in my opinion it leaves an amazing souvenior for the spectator and its more of a transform than a vanish. the bag version , also an excelent coffee vanish you place a full cup of coffee into a bag and then you crush the bag and the coffee together and hand it out for examination , i feel this alone is better than the crushed cup version in the demo video cause any trick that is stunning as this people dont wanna be restricted to examination plus handing them a crushed bag with a coffee cup inside is more mysterious and they take the bag and open it to find an empty crushed cup inside it , its just really sweet. all in all if the demo looks great to you buy this for the coffee transform and the bag version , those 2 versions alone are epic. I used "Mojoe" in a presentation before 200 people recently. I had the "gimmick" all set, ready to
go, and made a quick run to men's room before my talk. When I returned, I was horrified to discover
that a waiter had tossed my "Mojoe" in the garbage. It took me 20 minutes to comb though 100s of
discarded coffee cups that all looked the same. For that price, I HAD to find it. My presentation
was just okay, and the audience response lackluster. Maybe the crowd was just too big to get the
full effect. "Mojoe" is well made, but can be EASILY lost, as there are 2 parts. The DVD lacks
excitement, and will require you to devise some better set-ups and "clean up." For the price, you
may want to consider a couple of other items instead.

I absolutely love this effect but the only problem is that the gimmick WILL NOT fit into a large
size cup at my local Wired Monk and I haven't even tried it with a medium size cup yet so overall
it's an amazing effect but I don't know how much use I'll get out of it at this time.

this effect really sucks the idea is nice but the same thing can be achived with out this WAY
OVERPRICED gimmick and without the gimmick here it is also much more reliable and cleaner since you
wont have to get the gimmick later. the effect is great but been done before and the other way is
cheaper and better 1 star this trick is a big rip off

I love this effect so much, I accidentally threw it out with the used cups I was practicing with so
I bought it again. Very costly but a great effect. I came up with a great patter line that makes
sense as to every move I make. I wish it was cheaper. I would buy more for spares. I will eventually
make my own but, thanks John from a future return customer. But please lower your prices a little.
Not too much! I don't want my 13 year old neighbor doing this stuff.
