Okay so I got an advanced copy of The Zombie & The Joker from Mathew Mello but with 100% honesty I can say that does not change my review. This is once again a genius effect. Matt may not realize it but what he says before the trick takes place is worth more than $10 and that's before the effect even starts. I have been a Hypnotist for 5 years now and a Magician for even longer. One of the hardest concepts for hypnotist or magicians to learn is how to engage the audience and get them smiling, laughing and enjoying themselves before any magic happens. This effect has that built in. Then the trick even though it is simple looks and feels like you have the spectator in a deep hypnotic state. Now you can take that feeling expand on it and actually take them into hypnosis using techniques taught by the names Matt mentions in his crediting or you can go straight into your favorite card effect. Just make sure its a hard hitting effect because the spectators reaction will be a strong one and you need to follow this with something equally as strong. I have already said Pulse Rate was too cheap and The Zombie and The Joker could also be sold for a lot more and it would be worth it. I highly recommend this.

Not only is this a great trick you will learn a great tip about a common product that you can use to create all sorts of magic. I purchased the product at my local hardware store and it works like a charm! This alone is worth the trick. The trick itself is wonderful and I'm sure I will have a lot of fun with it. Some tricks you buy and shelve, This is definitively a trick you will want to do.
