This is incredible.
Over the years, I have spent thousands of dollars on magic books, DVDs
and props, and without a doubt this is one of the best I have ever bought.
I can genuinely
say that this will transform my magic and mentalism - I have been after an impromptu blindfold
technique for a long time and this has solved that issue. Not only will it be of great use when I
have nothing with me, but I also believe this will be my go to blindfold solution over several other
marketed products and techniques. It just looks that fooling.
Thanks Patrik Kuffs, thanks
Matt Johnson and thank you Penguin for bringing this revolutionary blindfold technique to our

This one just didn't do it for me. For starters, it didn't work with the premium brand of foil I had
on hand. It did work, mostly, with a cheaper brand of generic foil. But it didn't have that "wow"
factor we all want from every effect. I'm not saying it's a bad trick (as you can tell from the
plethora of 5-star reviews.) It's just not for me. I took a chance on a Cool Box special, so there
wasn't much invested and not much lost. Occasionally those "cheap tricks" pay off in spades, like
"Torched and Restored."

Over the years I have purchased and used a variety of different methods and products to perform a
convincing blind fold routine. You name it and I've probably tried it, some had more advantages over
others but 99% of them relied on the same way for you to see, and a vast majority of spectators are
mostly aware of the method.
Then enters Patrik Kuffs Blindfoil, and his revolutionary new
idea of using 100% ungimmicked aluminum foil as a blind fold, there are absolutely no holes involved
with the method. I also really enjoyed the fact that you cover your entire face with the tin foil,
not just around your eyes and doing so really makes your performances look that much more
impossible. I am eternally grateful that Blindfoil has forever changed my performing method and
style of all my blind fold effects.
It really doesn't get much simpler than this folks, you
can either carry around the aluminum foil in your pocket or you can grab some if you’re performing
at someone’s house and with a minimum of 5-10 seconds prep time (yes there is a very small, minute
amount of prep time involved) and then you’re all set to perform some utterly impossible miracles.
The effects are so miraculous that people will be 100 % convinced that there are holes in
the aluminum foil, so in the beginning I have been placing the tin foil over a ceiling light or
other light source to show that there are no holes. I even ventured as far as letting people
momentarily place it over their own face, and not once have they seen any holes (since there are
none) or noticed the secret behind the effect.
So if you’ve been looking to add any number
of different blind fold effects to your performances, and don’t want to rely on cumbersome hard
metal blind folds or using news paper or duct tape then you’ve just found that solution with Patrik

I actually hate to give this review as I wish I could keep "Blindfoil" as under the radar as
possible but Patrik and his creation deserve to be noticed. I have been searching for the perfect
blindfold method since I began performing the magical arts over 46 years ago and I have finally
found it in the "Blindfoil" method. Don't let the low price distract you from the extreme value of
this method, if I had been Patrik and Matthew first I would have never shared the method but if I
did I would have priced it for the professional in the hundreds of dollars, no you do not get any
props and the method is simple once you know it, but the fact is that "Blindfoil" is the first major
advancement in blindfold methodology that I can remember in my years of performing. Now having said
that after learning this method I would absolutely not recommend it for a blindfold drive as shown
on the demo video as there are other safer blindfold methods that will give you much better and
clearer range of sight for that demonstration, but for stage and impromptu demonstrations this will
top any other blindfold prop or method you have used in the past. Some of the features I love best
about this new method is you do not use anything that is gimmicked or prepared in advance, the
method is simple, and visually "Blindfoil" has a fresh, bizarre contemporary look to it. If you are
in a home you can ask for a roll of foil from the host, take out a piece and do the demonstration,
it is that clean. In my opinion this is the most organic and strait forward method for a blindfold
demonstration I have ever seen and absolutely brilliant. For anyone who performs a blindfold style
act or if you want to perform with a blindfold this is the best method you will find hands down at

I know some blindfold methods, but this one is amazing because it is SO practical and
straightforward. They can wrap the foil around your head without you touching the metal mask through
the entire routine. I think it's pretty awesome. I have not tested it in the real world, but just by
the looks of it I know I'm glad to know this secret if I'm ever in someone's house near the kitchen
and they want to see some magic, or if I just want to call a little more attention. The bottom line
is: Someone wearing an Aluminum Foil mask is puzzling and entertaining, and even if you already do a
blindfold act you will be happy that you don't need to carry around your blindfold to perform this.

I'm more of a hobbyist, but I perform magic on a daily basis and can proudly say this is one of the
most shocking, clean, impromptu, and magical tricks I've ever come across. When I saw the promo and
he was driving, I was sold. Now, I can do the same exact things he did in the video, and it's one
of the few tricks I own that truly blows people away!
Pros: Learning this trick is SO EASY,
I taught my wife to do it in 10 seconds. It's a very clean trick, and no complicated
angle-sensitive peeking either. I've done blindfolds, but this takes it to another level. It's so
visual, that NOBODY will believe what you are doing. And it ends 100% clean. What other tricks end
clean with impact?
Cons: You have to be certain the audience believes the trick from the
get-go. This means risking a reveal, but I've never had an issue with it, it's too convincing. So,
really it's a non-issue. Also, if you choose to drive with this trick, do it in a parking lot where
nobody will get hurt, just in case (be smart about it).
Get this today and do it in front
of as big an audience as possible. You will NOT be sorry!

This is a magic trick is an OK, the reason I say this is because the tricks you can do with it are
weak but if you have a amazing imagination you make some good ones up. It is A great trick for $5 or
$10 after the offer but is really simple. I actually figured this trick out but for some reason I
bought it thinking there is no way you do it like this. That's why it is only a 4 because it is just
a bit too simple. Other than that it is pretty handy and mysterious, I will write another review
once I take it onto the streets, I have performed it to my family and they kind of got half way to
finding the method.
Shall I buy it?
Yes if you have a good imagination or if you are a
Is it worth it?
Yes and No it depends.

What happens when magicians learn the methods to tricks? We get paranoid that laymen will also learn
the method so we try to invent other/"better" "more natural" methods. 1000 methods to do one trick
when you only need one good method, so diabolical that no layman would ever think of it. This is not
that. I prefer Richard Osterlind's stainless steel blindfold. All a layman would have to do with
this tin foil blind fold thing is try it and they would figure it out.

I used to do a version of smash and stab that combined this with another method in my live shows. I
don't do it anymore as I've taken my shows in another direction but I do want to point out that it
always fooled everybody, and I even fooled Fantasio with it!

Effect is so simple you will kick yourself for not thinking of it, but that's what makes for the
most effective tricks in my opinion.
I combine this effect with Risk (Staple Gun Roulette)
and it totally kills.
I have to knock two stars off of it because of three reasons.
1. If you do his impromptu blindfold, there is a chance of failure, which brings me around to
2. If you preset the blindfold sometimes you have to futz with it onstage. I've
found the best course of action is prepare the blindfold, check it to make sure it works, then
remember what direction it needs to go on when on stage.
3. If you are primarily an outdoors
performer like myself, the lighting can be unpredictable and occasionally result in the gag being
given away if you are not careful.
