I'm sure he would sell 10 fold if the price was cut in half, but alas, I bought it. Great trick, but
way too much money.

The gimmick and the effect are fantastic.
I would have liked for the instructions to be a
little more detailed.

I am just recently getting into magic and illusion. This isn't the first trick I bought off of this
site. But it is the first from this site that I've put into practice. Getting the reactions I get
are priceless. I'm currently practicing doing it one-on-one, so I've only showed maybe 5 people so
far. Every time was an awesome reaction. I showed a co-worker, and he goes, "What are you? Possessed
or something?" And the first person I showed, which was my dad, had the best reaction. Really really

The pen is good quality, spectators are blown away, the trick is fairly easy to do. The downside is,
it's nearly impossible to do the trick without getting Inck on yourself from the gimmick. The X that
you put on your own hand does not always disappear. The black putty used to hold the gimmick leaves
a black residue on your hand. Every spectator ask to see your hands after the trick and it takes
away from the effect when there is Inck and black residue on your fingers. It's always a huge
disappointment when the instructions don't show up on my penguin magic.

I bought this at magic LIVE and I was very happy. The effect is amazing BUT BE AWARE, this trick
you will require you to practice angles till you get the hang out it. Also if the audience asks to
inspect then you are gonna have to do some swap out to cover your track. Otherwise great and I

Love this trick. Super practical. Knocks spectators socks off every time.
The best trick i have seen and the idea is awesome i get huge reactions and works perfect but the
instructions should have been better and also the price lower or at least more gimmicks for the
price you pay still perfect trick
Thank you Mark. Double Cross delivers some of the strongest audience reactions I've ever seen.
Simple to learn and straightforward to perform.
When I first saw this, I thought "that's cool, but is it worth $60?"
I was hesitant, so I saved
up some money, and convinced a family member to buy it for me. Lmao.
I'm a card guy, and I never
carry gimmicks because it just takes up pocket space. This gimmick is perfect for my style of magic.
It goes in my pocket, next to my regular sharpie, and I'm set.
I cannot stess this enough: this.
Gets. Reactions. It's quick and easy to do right out of the box. Only reason I'd take off points is
the tutorial. There's a ton of information they could've given, but they didn't. Which leaves the
performer to work out what to do and how to use every part of it properly. Also, needing to by
"magic vanishing ink" from the site is a bit much. It's just dry erase. They should've pointed
people in the direction of some cheap, easy to get dry erase matches for the gimmick.
I bought this one because I wanted another Sharpie trick to go with SHARP SHOT (which I love and
also recommend). This trick is brilliant. When you open your hand to show that the x is gone,
they're sometimes afraid to open their own hand. The last guy I did it for nearly fainted when he
opened his hand and saw it. I will instantly buy another one of these if I lose this trick because
I'll be carrying it around with me everywhere. Best part is that I only had to practice a few
times. (I prefer gimmicks that are easy to use...)
